Photography has been part of my life for 40+ years, starting with a black and white dark room in my teens, shooting panatomic-x and always having a camera by my side.  After a few years I took a leap with color developing and with that came a whole new set of challenges.   In college I was on the yearbook staff as a photographer and after college I got in Mountaineering and was traveling often to the US northwest, primarily in Washington and Oregon lugging all my gear to the summits of many great mountains.  When the digital age came about and the notion of no film development I jumped on board and have never looked back.  I am a purest when it comes to photography trying to capture exactly what I am seeing, but more recent I have dabbled in High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography allowing for greater creative freedom.
